2012 Audi A6 Sedan Photos Leaked

Audi has released 2012 Audi A6 Sedan Photos, being based on the more upscale A7 Sportback, it comes to no surprise that the new A6 looks like a sedan version of the first with a less curvalicious roofline and a more mundane rear-end that brings to mind the smaller A4 sedan. The similarities are far more evident in the interior as with a few exceptions aside such as the door panel detailing, the A6's cabin is identical to the A7 Sportback.

2012 Audi RS3 Sportback review

Special Edition : Aston Martin Rapide Luxe

Aston Martin released Rapide Luxe, a special edition version of the British sports saloon that quietly appeared on the automaker's official website.

Customers can choose from a range of colors including the Concours Blue and Quantum Silver. The car rides on 20-inch alloys, just like the standard Rapide, but the wheels wrapped around in Bridgestone Potenza's feature a different, 20-spoke design with a polished finish.

2012 Buick LaCrosse : GM's eAssist mild hybrid technology

Next summer, all versions of the Buick LaCrosse with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder unit will be fitted with GM's eAssist mild hybrid technology as standard, The 2012MY LaCrosse will make its world premiere this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The eAssist system shares the same basic belt-alternator-starter configuration of previous BAS designs, but according to GM, it delivers more than three times the power and is much more capable.

Mazda3 update: 1.6-liter Diesel

Mazda has updated the 1.6-liter four-cylinder diesel engine offered in the Mazda3 hatchback and sedan models, the new version needs just 4.4 lt/100 km (64.2 UK mpg or 53.5 US mpg) and it's mated for the first time to a six-speed manual transmission, making it Euro 5-compliant, more powerful (115 hp vs 109 hp) and even more economical.

1.6 MZ-CD delivers 30 more newton-meters (22 lb-ft) of torque, which should definitely count. Engineers achieved this by using a new common-rail fuel injector system, with piezo injectors, and a variable-geometry turbocharger, which not only increased the torque to 270 Nm (199 lb-ft), but also made it available between 1,700-2,700 rpm. Peak power is delivered 400 rpm lower than before, at 3,600 rpm.

The details and photos of the subtly refreshed 2011 Dodge Challenger coupe are finally in, Now dubbed SRT8 392, the top-line Challenger will be powered by a 6.4-liter V-8 that makes 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. That's an improvement of 45 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque over last year's 6.1-liter Hemi V-8.

At the front, there's a restyled trapezoidal front air dam with a larger opening while the Dodge logo has been removed from the hood.the larger "duck bill" front spoiler in black, the racing-style fuel-filler door and the 18-inch alloy wheels which are now standard on all models, plus the Challenger logos on the front fenders, pretty much round up the exterior updates.

2011 Hyundai Elantra: released photo gallery

 Hyundai has released photo gallery of the North American version of the new Elantra sedan in advance of the sedan's debut at this week's Los Angeles Auto Show. 

Powered by a 140HP 1.6-liter unit with direct-injection, the U.S-spec model gets a larger displacement 1.8-liter gasoline unit with conventional port fuel injection rated at 148-horsepower and 131 lb-ft of torque. The first official photograph of Nissan's all-new Murano CrossCabriolet, not only lost the standard model's top, but also the rear doors. The four-seater model will have its world premiere at the 2010 LA Auto Show  this week and sale in the U.S. early next year. Volkswagen Golf Blue-E-Motion test drive in Los Angeles Auto Show

Next week during the Los Angeles Auto Show, Volkswagen of America, Inc. will offer U.S. media their first chance to get behind the wheel of the Golf blue-e-motion zero-emissions electric vehicle. Based on the five-door version of the German hatch, the Golf blue-e-motion has a 115 hp (85 kW) electric motor, powered by a 26.5 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, and a driving range of up to 150 km (93 miles).

A production version is scheduled for launch in 2013.
