Designed as a competitor for the BMW X6, The 2011 ZDX will be offered in three trim levels: ZDX ($45,645), ZDX with Technology Package ($50,145), and ZDX with Advance Package ($56,195).
The ZDX features exquisite design elements consisting of a panoramic glass roof, hidden rear door handles, and bold fender flares. It is powered by a V6 engine that delivers 300 HP and comes standard with a Sequential SportShift 6-speed automatic transmission.
"The ZDX is like nothing you have ever seen before from Acura," said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. "It combines the best attributes of a coupe, a sedan and a sport utility – all wrapped in a beautifully sculpted package – that will attract an entirely new luxury customer to the Acura brand."
Exterior Features
The exterior of the 2011 Acura ZDX is deceptive, concealing a large interior and looking like a sleek, mean and aggressive sedan with sharp lines and a raised roofline that slopes both forward and back. The door handles for the back are flush with the vehicle’s exterior making them virtually invisible in pictures and in person as well.
Interior Features
the ZDX seats two or three fewer occupants than Acura’s MDX SUV and also has less cargo space. Built more for the recently-retired crowd who still want a little extra room for golfing buddies or sewing group friends, the ZDX is comfortable inside, offering all that Acura is well-known for in terms of style and quality.
Performance
The true power and ability of the ZDX is found in its ride. Comfortable and smooth from its ample acceleration to its highway passing, the ZDX acts like a luxury machine. There are options available to tighten up the suspension an otherwise turn the ZDX into a sportier machine for control and performance, but that hardly seems necessary for a car of this design and caliber.
